Dr. Richard Allen is a Research Fellow at St. Peter's College, University of Oxford. His work focuses on the ecclesiastical history of northern France during the High Middle Ages, particularly ducal Normandy (911–1204). He specializes in analyzing administrative records like charters to explore political, legal, economic, and cultural contexts of medieval societies.
