Renee Pesor holds the position of Senior Research Fellow at the Estonian Business School, where she has been affiliated since 2019. Her academic roles have evolved from Junior Researcher (2019–2023) to Researcher (2023–2024), and currently as Senior Research Fellow since 2024. She earned her Doctor's Degree in 2022, focusing on the relationship between corporate social performance and financial performance, under the supervision of Alar Kein. Her Master's Degree (2016) explored investor reactions to earnings announcements on the Tallinn Stock Exchange.
Her research interests center on managerial decision-making, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and information asymmetry in financial contexts. She has contributed to projects analyzing the green transition's impact on foreign economic policy and occupational rehabilitation service effectiveness. Her work frequently bridges sustainability metrics (ESG scores) with financial performance, emphasizing how environmental and social factors influence corporate strategies and market outcomes.
Key achievements include awards such as the Helgi Soutar Bursary (2019) and scholarships from Tallinn City and Rein Otsason. Her publications span journals like Journal of Occupational Rehabilitation and Sustainability, addressing topics ranging from ESG catalyst theory to green transition challenges in Estonian enterprises.
