Reinaldo Laddaga

Reinaldo Laddaga is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Romance Languages at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also affiliated with the Forum on Word and Image as a faculty member.

His research focuses on multimedia collaborative production in the arts during an era of globalization, examining interdisciplinary projects by Dutch, Argentinean, British, and Italian artists that challenge traditional categorizations of film, art, and literature. He is currently expanding this work into an English version of his book El giro hacia la practica. Transformaciones en las artes en una epoca de globalizacion, analyzing online collaborative initiatives such as Jodi's interactive art, Brazil's "Projeto Metafora," and the internet artists 0100101110101101.org.
