Reijo Sund

Reijo Sund is a Professor of Register Studies at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, School of Medicine, University of Eastern Finland. His work focuses on epidemiological research using health registries, with particular expertise in musculoskeletal disorders, diabetes, and public health outcomes. He leads the Kuopio Osteoporosis Risk Factor and Prevention (OSTPRE) Study, a long-term cohort investigation spanning from 1989 to 2030.
