Regine Bendl

Regine Bendl is an Associate Professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Wien), affiliated with the Institute for Gender and Diversity in Organizations and the Competence Center for Sustainability Transformation and Responsibility. She served as Head of the Institute from 2015 to 2020. Her academic credentials include a Venia Docendi in Business Administration and Gender Studies.

Research & Teaching: Her work focuses on gender and diversity in organizations, intersectionality, queer perspectives, and subtexts in organizational theories. She teaches courses such as Diversity Management (BA), Working in Diverse Teams (BA), and Diversity and Sustainability (MA).

Publications & Projects: Bendl has authored/co-authored influential works like the Encyclopedia Gender in Management (forthcoming) and the Oxford Handbook of Diversity in Organizations. She has led projects on topics including Black African female employees in Western organizations, shared leadership, and complexity management in higher education.
