Reecha Bahl

Reecha Bahl is an Associate Professor of Clinical Education at Wayne State University. She is a board-certified ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. Dr. Bahl completed her medical education at George Washington University School of Medicine, followed by residency in ophthalmology at the Cole Eye Institute, Cleveland Clinic, and fellowship training at The Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan.

Her clinical interests focus on:

• Strabismus (muscle abnormalities) in children and adults
• Pediatric eye diseases
• Genetic eye disorders

Her research contributions span across pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus surgery outcomes, genetic eye diseases, and innovative treatments for retinal disorders. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and contributed to authoritative textbook chapters in her field.

In her role as Associate Professor, Dr. Bahl is actively involved in clinical education, training the next generation of ophthalmologists in pediatric eye care and strabismus management.
