Dr. Rebecca Walker is an Associate Professor and Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor in the Faculty of Humanities at Curtin University. Her research focuses on online teacher education, work-integrated learning, and technology-enhanced education. She has held leadership roles in education policy and curriculum design, co-editing the second edition of Powers of Curriculum: Sociological Perspectives on Education. Her work addresses equity in education, STEM attitudes among preservice teachers, and virtual reality applications in teacher training. She serves on the executive committee of the Australian Teacher Education Association.
