Reamer L. Bushardt

Reamer L. Bushardt is the Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs and a Professor in the Physician Assistant Studies department at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, part of Mass General Brigham. He holds dual licensure as a Pharmacist and Physician Assistant, with extensive experience in primary care, geriatrics, and clinical research. His administrative roles include leadership at George Washington University, Wake Forest School of Medicine, and Medical University of South Carolina. He specializes in healthcare workforce development, particularly in underserved areas and substance use disorders. His research focuses on training programs, diversity initiatives, and translational science. Awards include the Northern Virginia Community College Foundation Distinguished Academic Partner Award (2019) and multiple teaching and leadership recognitions.
