Daniel Rosen

Daniel Rosen, PhD, MSW, is a Professor of Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Social Work. Within the institution, he serves as Director of the Integrated Healthcare Certificate, coordinates the joint MSW/MBA program, and chairs the Health Research Advisory Panel at the Center on Race and Social Problems.

Dr. Rosen specializes in community health, urban social problems, and health social work, with particular expertise in integrated healthcare, substance use disorders, and late-life depression. His research focuses on addressing barriers to care and developing sustainable programs for vulnerable older adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use issues. He actively collaborates with community-based providers to design practical interventions that bridge clinical research with real-world implementation.
