Raymond E. Frey is a Professor of Physics at the University of Oregon, affiliated with the Department of Physics under the College of Arts and Sciences. He has been at UO since 1989 and previously served as Physics Department Head from 2012–2018. His research focuses on experimental high-energy physics and astrophysics, particularly gravitational wave detection with LIGO.
