Dr. Ray Hixon is a Professor in the Mechanical, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering Department at the University of Toledo. He obtained his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1993 and has since focused on high-accuracy Computational Aeroacoustics (CAA) methods, particularly for predicting jet aircraft engine noise.
