Ray DiCapua is Professor of Sculpture and Drawing at the University of Connecticut's School of Fine Arts. His practice investigates perceptual relationships between reality, representation, and projection through large-scale drawings and installations.
Research explores materiality in contemporary drawing practice and phenomenological aspects of spatial perception in sculptural contexts.
Exhibitions: National venues include Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, Tacoma Art Museum, and Sculpture Center NY.
