Rashad Aliyev

Prof. Aliyev's research centers on Fuzzy Logic with significant contributions to Decision Theory and Artificial Intelligence. His work spans Fuzzy Rule-based Systems, Z-Numbers, Type-2 Fuzzy Logic, and Fuzzy Game Theory, extending to Knowledge Representation, Neural Networks, and Time Series Forecasting. His methodologies bridge theoretical frameworks with practical applications in computational intelligence.

He has supervised 21 graduate students (6 PhD and 15 Master's), guiding research in fuzzy decision systems, AI applications, and computational modeling. His advisees have developed solutions for credit scoring, traffic control, hotel occupancy prediction, and constraint satisfaction problems, demonstrating the real-world impact of his academic leadership.
