Randy Pace

Randy Pace serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Art and Design within Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Augusta University. His academic work focuses on photography and visual communication.

• Education: MFA in Photography (Academy of Art University, 2012); BA in Visual and Performing Arts (Lander University, 2001); AD and CER in Commercial/Advertising Art and Photography (Piedmont Technical College, 1998)

With expertise in studio photography, editorial photography, and visual narrative, Pace has contributed to numerous group exhibitions across the American South. His recent scholarship includes Violent Syncronicity (2021) and The Connected World (2020), showcasing his work in contemporary photographic art. His research trends emphasize visual storytelling, landscape documentation, and media-driven artistic expression.

Pace teaches core art courses including ART 2010 The Marvel of Art and advanced photography sequences while providing promotional photography services for Augusta University since 2015. He chaired the Pamplin Student Research and Travel Committee (2013–2019) and contributed to institutional branding through visual documentation.
