Randy M. Grossman is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, teaching Sports Law since 2000 and Trial Practice. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the university. Certified as a Major League Baseball Player Agent, he represents notable athletes including Hall of Famer Dave Winfield and Tim Raines. His career spans over 25 years, beginning as a sportscaster for NBC before transitioning into sports marketing with Steve Garvey’s firm, where he managed endorsements for athletes like Magic Johnson and Tony Gwynn.
Education includes a J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and a B.A. from San Diego State University. His legal practice focuses on contract litigation and criminal defense, with high-profile cases ranging from bank theft to murder. He is licensed in California state courts, U.S. District Court (Southern District), and the U.S. Supreme Court.
As faculty advisor, Grossman oversees the Sports Law Society, National Sports Law Negotiation Competition, PAD Mock Trial Competitions, and the National Baseball Arbitration Competition.
