Univ.-Prof. Dr. Ralph J. Poole is a Professor of American Literary and Cultural Studies and Head of Department at the University of Salzburg, Faculty of Cultural Studies. He holds institutional roles including Member of AKG, Coordinator ISEP, and Faculty Member of multiple research programs.
His research focuses on American literature from colonial times to present, popular culture genres, gender theory, and transnational studies with emphases on the Caribbean and Turkey.
