Katrin Ackerl Konstantin is an actress, director, and cultural scientist with interdisciplinary expertise bridging art and academia. She holds a diploma in acting from the Conservatory of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (1994) and a Mag. a phil. in psychology from the University of Vienna and Klagenfurt (2013).
- Research Focus: Queer-feminist perspectives on gender roles in 21st-century theater, combining performance theory (Fischer-Lichte, Butler, Lehmann, Turner) with sociological role theories.
- Projects: Led an FWF-funded artistic research project titled Let's perform! Role diversity and irritation in theatrical performances from a queer feminist perspective, culminating in the performance Führen wir uns auf!
- International Engagement: Conducted research and lectured across Austria, Croatia, Peru, Qatar, Bangladesh, Iran, Mexico City, Malta, Czech Republic, and Denmark.
