Ralf Rothfuß

Ralf Rothfuß is Professor of Control Engineering at the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering, Esslingen University of Applied Sciences. He teaches physical modeling of mechatronic systems, simulation methods for dynamic systems, model-based control, rapid prototyping, and systems engineering.

His industrial experience includes 15 years at Robert Bosch GmbH where he held leadership positions in hydraulic simulation, controller design, systems engineering, mechatronic function development, and vehicle dynamics. Key roles included Head of Engineering Systems Mechatronics and Head of Engineering Vehicle Dynamics, developing ABS, ASR, and ESP systems.
