Rahel Jaeggi

Rahel Jaeggi has been Professor of Philosophy with a focus on Political and Social Philosophy at Humboldt University of Berlin since 2009. She also serves as Director of the Center for Humanities and Social Change since 2018.

Education:

• Habilitation at Goethe University Frankfurt (2009)

A prominent representative of Critical Theory, Jaeggi's research explores themes of alienation, forms of life, and critiques of capitalism. Her work bridges theoretical rigor with contemporary societal challenges.

• Theodor Heuss Professor at the New School for Social Research

Jaeggi has held visiting professorships at Yale University, Fudan University, and the New School for Social Research. She is the author of influential books on alienation, forms of life, and critiques of capitalism.
