Rachele Marconi is a Lecturer in International Law at the Department of Humanities, University of Macerata, and a Research Fellow at the Dirpolis Institute of Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa. She holds a PhD in International Law (IUS/13) from the University of Macerata, with a dissertation on gender perspectives in interpreting IHL norms regarding violence against women in armed conflicts.
