Rachel Young is a Departmental Writing Fellow and PhD candidate at Johns Hopkins University, affiliated with the History of Art department.
Her research focuses on early modern European prints, integrating media theory and technical art history to re-evaluate the Italian reproductive print genre (1565-1636).
Recent work has been published in Print Quarterly. She has held prestigious fellowships, including support from the Gerda Henkel Stiftung, the Istituto Universitario Olandese di Storia dell'Arte in Florence, and the Baltimore Museum of Art.
