Rachel Worthington

Dr Rachel Worthington is a Senior Lecturer at the Institute for Children’s Futures at Manchester Metropolitan University. A qualified Forensic Psychologist with over 25 years of clinical experience, she specializes in neurodiversity, mental health, and online safety for young people.

Her research focuses on the intersection of neurodiversity and offending behavior, with recent work addressing online safety for adolescents. She has published and presented internationally on these topics.

Dr Worthington provides therapy for clients with personality difficulties, PTSD, intellectual disabilities, and acquired brain injury, and has specific expertise in supporting both verbal and non-verbal individuals.
