Rachel Bailey

Dr. Rachel Bailey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Bentley University. She completed her Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of Connecticut in 2024 under the supervision of Dr. Maxim Derevyagin and Dr. Masha Gordina. • Quantum computing applications
• Semigroup connections with stochastic processes

Current projects investigate orthogonal polynomials' role in quantum state transfer and semigroup theory.

Research mentorship includes guiding undergraduate researcher Sun Ma on orthogonal polynomial applications in quantum computing.
