Rachael Nealer

Rachael Nealer is a Lecturer at Johns Hopkins University, affiliated with the Hopkins Bloomberg Center in Washington, D.C. Her research focuses on energy policy, environmental studies, and GIS, particularly in transportation systems modeling and lifecycle environmental impacts.

• Education: Joint PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University

Dr. Nealer currently serves as a program manager at the Department of Energy's Vehicle Technologies Office, overseeing transportation systems modeling and public data initiatives. Prior to this, she worked at the Union of Concerned Scientists analyzing electric vehicle environmental impacts and at the EPA's Renewable Fuels Standard office.
