R. Scott Mitchell is an Associate Professor of Practice at the USC School of Architecture, specializing in digital fabrication, robotics, and design-build practices. He leads courses such as Techniques in Digital Fabrication, utilizing USC’s robotic arms for advanced fabrication education. Mitchell is the founder of Gigante AG, a design-build consulting firm, and has collaborated with renowned architecture practices including Gehry Partners and Morphosis.
He holds a BA in Architectural Studies from Brown University and an M.Arch II from SCI-Arc.
