R. Kent Murray

Dr. R. Kent Murray is a Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership at The Citadel's Zucker Family School of Education. He serves as Graduate Clinical Faculty at the University of South Carolina, mentoring doctoral students in educational leadership.

• M.Ed. in Secondary Educational Administration from The Citadel
• Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from The Citadel
• Ed.D. in Educational Administration from South Carolina State University

A former middle school assistant principal, high school principal, and director of secondary schools, Dr. Murray brings extensive practical experience to his academic role. He recently completed eight years of service on the Berkeley County School Board, including a term as Chairman.
