Qin Wu is a Lecturer in Economics at the School of Economics, Finance, and Marketing, RMIT University (City Campus, Australia). Her research focuses on experimental and behavioral economics, addressing topics like cheating deterrence in contests, organizational behavior, price competition impacts, and reciprocal behavior influenced by information. She emphasizes practical applications in teaching courses such as Behavioral Economics and collaborates with entities like the Victoria Behavioural Insights Unit and ASIC to bridge academia and industry challenges.
Teaching emphasizes real-world relevance, using guest lectures and industry assessments. She coordinates the capstone Behavioral Economics course and supports student growth through career guidance in behavioral economics.
