Pınar Uğurlar

Dr. Pınar Uğurlar is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Social Sciences at Özyeğin University, specializing in social psychology. Her academic journey includes a doctorate from Middle East Technical University, postdoctoral research at the University of Cologne, and visiting fellowships at the Center for Social and Economic Behavior (Cologne) and TÜBİTAK.

Research Focus: Dr. Uğurlar leads the Social Minds lab, investigating how self-perception and social cognition shape decision-making. Her work examines trust dynamics, cooperative behaviors, and cognitive processes in interpersonal and intergroup contexts, using experimental and survey-based methodologies.
