She holds a Master's degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies from Indonesia Defence University (2017) and is pursuing a PhD focusing on peacebuilding dynamics in post-authoritarian Indonesia (1998–2024). Her research explores the interplay between democratic qualities, violence, and actor interactions in peace processes, with comparative case studies in Aceh, Papua, and East Timor.
Her expertise spans peacebuilding, security sector reform, non-traditional security challenges, and democratisation processes in Southeast Asia. Recent work includes analyses of Indonesia's pandemic governance, intelligence oversight reforms, and post-conflict community initiatives. She has contributed to peer-reviewed journals, edited volumes, and policy papers, while actively participating in academic conferences and editorial roles for political research journals.
Key publications address pandemic policy responses, terrorism governance, and historical intelligence roles during Indonesia's transition to democracy. Her work contributes to UN SDGs related to peacebuilding and sustainable development through interdisciplinary approaches combining political science, security studies, and historical analysis.
