Dr. Pui Yee Tan is a Research Fellow at the School of Food Science and Nutrition, University of Leeds, specializing in public health nutrition with a focus on the triple burden of malnutrition in Southeast Asia (SEA).
- Coexistence of undernutrition, micronutrient deficiencies, and overnutrition in SEA
- Analyzes national nutrition survey data from Vietnam, Cambodia, and Malaysia
- Develops scalable food system interventions and school nutrition policy frameworks
