Pin Wang

Dr. Pin Wang is Assistant Professor of Global, Environmental, and Occupational Health at the University of Maryland School of Public Health. His research examines health impacts of climate variability, extreme weather events, and environmental stressors through epidemiological approaches. He holds a PhD in Public Health from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and completed postdoctoral training at Yale University.

Dr. Wang investigates interactions between climate change, air pollution, and urban built environments, with particular focus on climate justice implications. His methodological work advances statistical modeling of environmental health impacts, examining both short-term weather variations and long-term climate change effects on population health.
