Piet Berkers

Piet Berkers is a part-time Lecturer at the Academy for Built Environment & Logistics, Breda University of Applied Sciences. He specializes in Healthcare Logistics, Operations Management, and Facility Services. His career spans over 30 years in Management Boards across Logistics, Healthcare, and Facility Services sectors, including roles at Franklin Mint, Nedac Sorbo, and Autobar. He currently chairs the Patient Council at Amphia Hospital since 2014 and serves on the Board of Commissioners for Swinhove Group and Thuiszorg west-Brabant.

He advises 10-15 graduates annually on final traineeships in Management & Organisation, Entrepreneurship, and Healthcare Logistics.

Key projects include reducing access/waiting times in hospitals and redesigning medication distribution systems. He actively participates in healthcare logistics initiatives through his own consulting company.
