Pierre N. LeBlanc

Pierre N. LeBlanc is an Associate Professor in Visual Arts at the School of Fine Arts, Grenfell Campus, Memorial University of Newfoundland. Holding a BSc, BAV (Moncton), and MFA (Concordia), his work integrates sound art, visual programming, and performance, influenced by literary, cinematic, and televisual spaces.

Research & Practice: He founded the Gedeon Commission, a philosophical framework for collaborative cultural enterprises that challenges traditional notions of artistic originality. His current research focuses on electronics applied to sound art and digital media, with a Bandcamp platform for distribution.

Teaching & Supervision: With teaching experience at Concordia University, Université de Moncton, and Grenfell Campus, he supervises graduate students in Visual Arts and contributes to the M.F.A. program.
