Philippe Boudes is a Post-doctoral fellow at LADYSS (Laboratoire Analyse, Données, Yvelines, Sociétés, Systèmes), Université Paris Cité, under the GIS Climate-Environment-Society framework and collaborating on the ANR Urban Green Networks project supervised by N. Blanc and Jean-Paul Vanderlinden.
His research focuses on:
- Environmental sociology and sociological theories of climate change
- Urban green networks and vegetation dynamics
- Sustainable development actors in the Peruvian Amazon
- Water management policies and agricultural sociology in Andalusia
- History of ecological thought and social morphology
Boudes teaches courses on sustainable development, sociology of societies, and environmental sociology at Télécom École de Management, AgroParisTech, and University of Bordeaux. He organizes scientific events including climate adaptation study days and serves on the French Sociological Association's Environmental Sociology network and the International Association of French-Speaking Sociologists' Environment committee.
