Philipp Ritter, MD, PhD, is a Clinical Professor and Consultant Psychiatrist at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus, Technische Universität Dresden. He leads the Affective Disorders Unit and holds a postdoctoral qualification (venia legendi) in Psychiatry. His clinical practice focuses on bipolar and depressive disorders, integrating chronobiological mechanisms, sleep architecture analysis, and inflammatory pathways into patient care.
