Michael Bauer

Michael Bauer is a Professor of Psychiatry and currently holds the position of Executive Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus, Technische Universität Dresden. He also serves as Director and Physician-in-Chief of the Psychiatric Hospital and Outpatient Clinics, and Spokesperson of the Centre of Mental Health. Additionally, he is a transCampus® Professor at Technische Universität Dresden and King’s College London.

He emphasizes translational research bridging basic science and clinical practice, particularly in leveraging technology for mental health management.
