Peter W.A. Scholten is a Full Professor in the Governance of Migration and Diversity at the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences, Erasmus University Rotterdam, within the department of Policy, Politics and Society. He serves as scientific director of the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus (LDE) research centre on the Governance of Migration and Diversity and leads the Policy, Politics and Society research team. He holds a double professorship at Leiden University's Department of Global Affairs and is a visiting professor at Malmö University’s Institute for Migration, Integration and Welfare.
His research focuses on the dynamics of migration and diversity policies, cities of migration, science-politics relations in migration governance, and complexity governance.
