Peter Ström

Peter Ström is an Associate Professor of Visual Communication with a focus on Digital Media at Beckmans College of Design. He co-founded the design studio Konst & Teknik in 2006, specializing in projects blending graphic and digital design for cultural/arts contexts. His research includes a 2020–2021 project on digital design preservation (http://www.preserving.design).

Education: Trained in graphic design at Gerrit Rietveld Academie (Amsterdam). Teaching roles include positions at Beckmans College, Konstfack, Södertörn University, and Stockholm University, focusing on digital typography and editorial design.

Awarded the Berling Prize (2018) for contributions to design and education. Professional experience includes co-founding web agency Speedway (later Abel & Baker) in the 1990s and extensive web project work.
