Peter Stadler

Peter Stadler is a Researcher at the University of Paderborn's Digital Humanities department, serving as Managing Director and Research Associate at the Center for Music – Edition – Media (ZenMEM). He is affiliated with the Musicological Seminar Detmold/Paderborn and focuses on Digital Humanities methodologies.

His research centers on text and music encoding formats, digitization of historical-critical music editions, and development of sustainable open-source tools. Key projects include the WeGA WebApp, Edirom/WeGA-ODD schema, and MerMEId framework.

Stadler contributes to scholarly infrastructure through releases of the WeGA data package and technical documentation. His work intersects musicology, digital archiving, and collaborative software development.
