Dennis Ried is a Junior Professor of Musicology with a focus on Music Editing and Digital Humanities at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Department of Musicology within the Faculty of Philosophy II. Dr. Ried has been actively involved in the academic community, serving as Vice-Chairman (2018-2022) and Chairman (2022-2023) of the Doctoral Students' Convention at the Karlsruhe University of Music, and organizing the Edirom-Summer-School since 2022.
