Peter Stadius is a Research Director Professor at the Department of Cultures, Faculty of Arts, University of Helsinki, and holds a Docent title. He serves as supervisor for the Doctoral Programmes in History and Cultural Heritage and Political/Societal Change. His research focuses on Nordic Studies, cultural dynamics, and regional collaboration history. Stadius leads major projects like 'North and South' (2008–present) and 'Nordic Added Value and Vision 2030' funded by NordForsk.
His work examines Nordic identity formation, historical cooperation mechanisms, and contemporary regional challenges.
