Peter Roger is a Professor in the Department of Linguistics at Macquarie University, with dual expertise in medicine and applied linguistics. He holds a MB BS (Hons) from the University of Sydney and a PhD in Communication Sciences and Disorders. His research focuses on health communication, linguistic diversity, and second language acquisition, emphasizing globalization's impact on language learning and identity.
