Megann McGill

Megann McGill, PhD, CCC-SLP, is an Associate Professor at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, affiliated with the College of Rehabilitative Sciences. She is a certified bilingual (Spanish-English) speech-language pathologist with over a decade of experience in clinical practice, research, and student supervision.

Dr. McGill’s research focuses on telepractice as a tool to address healthcare disparities between rural and urban populations, emphasizing culturally responsive and evidence-based speech-language pathology care. Her work has been published in journals such as the American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology, Telemedicine and eHealth, and Journal of Fluency Disorders.

She is actively engaged in advocacy and community service, serving as the 2024 president of the Oregon Speech-Language and Hearing Association and participating in Camp More, a summer camp for children and teens who stutter. Dr. McGill integrates science, art, and clinical practice to train future speech-language pathologists, fostering confidence and competence in her students.
