Peter Nelson

Peter Nelson is an Associate Professor at Colorado State University specializing in geomorphology and sediment transport. Using computational modeling, field observations, and experiments, he studies river morphodynamics, wildfire impacts on erosion, and hydrologic connectivity. His NSF CAREER award supports research on sediment pulse dynamics and landscape evolution in disturbed watersheds.
