Peter Kyslan

Peter Kyslan is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Philosophy and Ethics, Faculty of Arts, University of Prešov in Prešov, Slovakia. He specializes in Philosophy of Culture, Philosophy of History, and Kant's Philosophy, with a particular focus on Kant's views on culture, multiculturalism, and cosmopolitanism. His academic work bridges historical philosophical analysis with contemporary ethical and cultural challenges.

Peter Kyslan has been actively involved in numerous research projects funded by VEGA (the Scientific Grant Agency of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic) and other funding bodies. His most significant projects include "Kant and Philosophy of History" (2018-2020), "Philosophy of History in the Enlightenment" (2017-2019), and "Kant's Ideas of Reason and Contemporary World" (2015-2019), where he served as principal investigator deputy. These projects demonstrate his sustained engagement with Kantian philosophy and its contemporary relevance.
