Peter Kastberg is a Professor at Aalborg University’s Department of Culture and Learning, affiliated with the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. His work focuses on knowledge communication, organizational communication, and strategic communication. He leads the Communication, Language, and Discourse (CLD) research group and co-edits the journal Communication & Language at Work. His research explores employee identity formation, sustainable communication practices, and critical examinations of organizational socialization.
Recent projects include the COORSO Network (2024–2027), investigating organizational socialization, and a Danish Language Council project analyzing secondary-to-tertiary education transitions. He has supervised PhD student Chiara Midea and participates in international research networks like the Critical Organizational Communication Collective.
Peter has edited influential works such as Illuminating the Dark Side of Strategic Organizational Communication (2025) and published widely on topics including knowledge asymmetries, employee voice, and sustainable workplace communication.
