Professor Peter Hofman is a faculty member at the School of Business, James Cook University (Singapore), serving as Director of Postgraduate Studies (Business). He holds a PhD in Management and Governance from the University of Twente, Netherlands, and has extensive international academic and administrative roles, including Acting Dean and Associate Dean at the University of Nottingham's China campus (2016–2022). His research focuses on corporate social responsibility (CSR), energy transition, eco-innovation, and corporate governance, with notable contributions to understanding CSR dynamics in China and Europe.
His teaching interests include strategies for CSR, sustainable enterprise, and research design for PhD candidates. Hofman has led grants on eco-innovation, sustainable supply chains, and low-carbon futures, collaborating with organizations like the Asian Development Bank and China's State Council.
