Peter Hewitt is a Jerrinja/Yuin man and Senior Lecturer in Aboriginal Education at the University of Wollongong (UOW). He combines 20 years of teaching experience with expertise in creative arts, educational leadership, and Aboriginal cultural advocacy. His current roles include co-leading the 'Country, Contexts, and Cultures' focus area at the Early Start Institute and serving as Chief Investigator (CI) on UOW Global Challenges Grants: 'Whale Songlines' and 'Integrating Country, Indigenous Consultation and Engagement in UOW Research Programs'.
