Peter Ginter

Peter Ginter is a University Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), holding primary affiliation with the School of Public Health's Department of Health Policy & Organization. He also holds academic roles in the School of Health Professions, Collat School of Business (retired), School of Engineering, and multiple research centers across UAB. His professional roles include Interim Dean of the School of Public Health (2017–2018), Department Chairperson (1997–2012), and Associate Dean. He earned a PhD in Business Administration from the University of North Texas (1977), an MBA from Auburn University (1973), and a BS in Mathematics/Economics (1968).
