Pete Churchill

Pete Churchill is a Professor of Jazz Composition at the Royal Academy of Music (London) and Head of Jazz Voice at the Brussels Royal Conservatoire. He has taught at prestigious institutions including the Guildhall School of Music and the Kodaly Summer School at the University of Queensland. His roles span composer, pianist, singer, and educator, with a focus on jazz, vocal ensembles, and rhythm studies.

His educational outreach includes collaborations with primary schools, leading to performances at the Royal Albert Hall. He directs the London Vocal Project, renowned for projects with artists like Kenny Wheeler and Jon Hendricks. Awards include the 2007 Parliamentary Award for Jazz Education.
